Andrew obtained a B.A. in English at Saint Louis University, where he graduated magna cum laude. At Saint Louis University, Andrew was named to the Dean’s List and served as a three year starter at catcher for the Saint Louis University Baseball Team and was highlighted in Conference USA for his outstanding performance.

Andrew received his J.D. from The University of Houston Law Center, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as an editor of The Houston Law Review. On Law Review, Andrew received the award for the Best Law Review Comment About Corporate Law. Andrew practiced at Vinson & Elkins in Houston for nearly three years before joining Doyle Raizner LLP. Andrew was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2006.

Andrew’s trial experience includes serving as first chair of an eight day trial in Harris County District Court related to a pipeline construction dispute, successfully first chairing a trial in U.S. Immigration Court in securing political asylum for his Columbian client who fought against recruitment of child soldiers by paramilitary organization, participating in a Jones Act trial leading to highly favorable verdict for the client, and trying over a dozen cases to verdict as Prosecutor for the City of Houston in 2007 and 2008.
